At Newhouse farm we believe in combining the good from old and new.
The land farmed around Newhouse farm has a rich history stretching back to the earliest days of man in the Peak district.
This land may have been farmed from the Bronze Age and is rich in Bronze age finds including a unique Bronze dagger.
At Newhouse we believe in farming in ways that do not harm the environment.
We are certified with the Organic Farmers and Growers Ltd No 11 UK F030109
Education is a vital link between the past and future and both children and adults can benefit from the short introduction to our farming methods and the Archaeological Trail
Visitors are always welcome; whether to stay in the converted barn, or to camp, or to purchase our own beef, lamb, eggs and vegetables from the farm shop; or to walk around the farm admiring the views whilst following the archeological trail (including the Standlow barrows )
