EqualiTea, home to fine ethical loose leaf tea, launches online
15/08/2012 - 'Lady Yang Guifei’, a surprising blend of green tea, litchi and pear, ‘Selimbong Second Flush’, a delicate oolong tea from the Selimbong estate in India, ‘Asimbonanga’, a refreshing rooibos blend with mango, peach and lemon.... here are some examples of the whole leaf teas which can now be ordered online from www.equalitea.co.uk
Launched at the beginning of August 2012 by Marion Lehnert, a tea lover who recently decided to turn her passion into a business venture, EqualiTea is all about offering high quality loose leaf teas which are ethically certified.
All teas are sourced from Les Jardins De Gaia, a company which has been the leader in the organic and fairtrade French tea market since 1994. In addition to black, green, white and blue teas, EqualiTea also offers a selection of rooibos, honeybush, lapacho and mate, also supplied by Les Jardins de Gaia. The selection currently consists of 30 teas: 29 are organic, 27 are fairtrade and 6 are biodynamic.
“Compared to the rest of Europe, there is very little available in terms of loose leaf tea and flavoured blends in the UK. Market research has revealed that this is however quickly changing. We thought it was the right time to have England discover the beautiful selection from the well-established Les Jardins de Gaia” Marion Lehnert says.
In addition to selling on the web, the EqualiTeam will also hit the road and be present at various markets in the South of England. Look out for them, online or near you!
