Where we came from:
As a mother with a growing family I have become increasingly worried at the level of chemicals used in the production of our food. This linked with the insidious introduction of genetically modified organisms into the food chain prompted me to start a small business supplying fresh organic produce direct to the consumer. Sunshine Organics has now been running for six years and has a well established client base with-in the local community.
Aims and Objectives:
As well as providing this service we at Sunshine Organics also aim to preserve the environment;. using recycled products where ever practical and asking the customer to return or re-use packaging. The boxes used for delivery are collected on your next order and re-used. We also print all our advertising and customer information on re-cycled paper; saving the rapidly diminishing rain forest. In line we with this policy were options are available we select produce that is imported via land and sea, therefore avoiding the more environmentally damaging effects of air freight.
The majority of our produce is hand selected from a dedicated organic wholesaler based in the South East. Where there is a choice of equal quality between produce grown in England or that grown abroad I intend to support home producers. When possible we support the local growers in our area and offer their produce to our customers
We do our best so that you and your family can enjoy the best!
