ABOUT OUR MEAT AND POULTRY:
We sell our meat and chickens from freezers. Steaks and chops are sold in packs of 1 or 2; mince and stewing meat and diced meat is sold in packs of approx. 1 lbs; sausages are usually sold in packs of 4; joints are on average 2 to 3 lbs. and chickens weigh between 4 and 7 lbs.
WE CAN BUTCHER BEEF, PORK and LAMB TO YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, READY FOR YOUR FREEZER, if given time.
ABOUT OUR ORGANIC BEEF.
Our shorthorn-cross cattle are mainly grass fed. The meat has matured for at least 3 weeks before being expertly butchered. We usually sell brisket;braising steak; fillet steaks; frying steaks; minced beef; rib on and off the bone; rump steaks; silverside; sirloin steaks; stewing steak and topside.
ABOUT OUR ORGANIC PORK:
Our Saddleback cross Duroc pigs are fed on a diet mainly produced on our own farm. We usually sell bellyslices; chops; kidney; leg joints; loin joints; loin steaks; mince; different varieties of sausages and sausagemeat (including ruskfree); shoulder joints and diced; spare ribs and tenderloin.
ORGANIC BACON AND GAMMON.
We cure and oak-smoke our own pork.
ABOUT THE ORGANIC FREE RANGE CHICKENS
We sell whole chickens and chicken portions (quarters).
ABOUT OUR ORGANIC VEGETABLES:
Sorry we are out of vegetables at the moment, however we are growing the following for this coming season:
Carrots; Cabbages; Chicory; Courgettes; French Beans; Leeks; Potatoes (red duke and sante); Onions; Salad Crops; Sweetcorn; Swiss Chard; Sprouts; Sprouting broccoli; Spinach; Squashes
ABOUT THE ORGANIC LAMB.
The breed of lamb we sell is either a cross between Mules and Charollais or Texel sheep or it is a Lleyn sheep. We sell leg joints; shoulder joints; lamb, loin and chump chops; breast of lamb;neck of lamb; liver; kidney; heart.
ABOUT THE ORGANIC EGGS.
The eggs are produced by organic Columbian Blacktail hens.
