Grange Bakery, based in Grange-Over-Sands supplies three shops (in Grange, Barrow and Dalton) as well as numerous local cafes, hotels and restaurants.
We have 20 staff, including a baking team of 6.
We are passionate about good, organic, healthy, fair trade food and although we have much experience of farming and sourcing organic and fair trade products, the bakery has been a steep learning curve with many inherited issues to resolve... but we are now making progress!
We aim to introduce organic bread lines, and use organic and fair trade ingredients wherever possible. We are also hoping to supply our veg box and home delivery customers with local, organic bread.
